Opportunity Overview: Procurement Engineer based in Jupiter, FL 33478. This is a 1-year contract assignment (W-2). The Procurement Engineer (PE) ensures that the parts ordered and requested maintain the design, license, and tech specs of the associated plant. This engineering position will support project, operational, and outage work when parts are requested from the nuclear fleet. You will perform Evaluations to set-up purchase requirements and associated testing/certification. Additionally, you will conduct Item-Equivalency Evaluations (IEEs) to combat Obsolete/unavailable items. You will also review challenges with parts upon receipt, known as OSDDs.
