Job Description In this role, you will support the operation and reliability of CERN's electronics pool equipment by testing, qualifying and maintaining a wide range of electronic instruments used in high-energy physics experiments and laboratories. You will maintain and improve test benches and procedures, troubleshoot equipment issues, and contribute to the evaluation of new devices. Through your work, you will help ensure the availability and performance of essential electronics systems for experimental teams. Your responsibilities: - Testing electronics equipment and instrumentation, identifying faults and carrying out firmware and hardware fixes, - Creating and correcting test procedure documentation when required, - Maintaining hardware and software of existing test benches in collaboration with the responsible technicians, - Participating in the daily operations of the electronics pool service and provide occasional support to the service users.
