Position Overview: - Bonus: $15,000 Sign On - Department: Computed Tomography - Schedule: 7on7off 11:00am - 9:00pm - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's East - Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Perform computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. - Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately. - Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. - Observe patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted. - Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. What You Will Need: Education: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
