Job description

The Construction Cost Estimator is responsible for the execution of the store construction capital expense forecasting, estimating, management, and reporting for all Finish Line business units. Assists in the management of store construction project costs, based on the priorities and needs of the company. This individual will effectively exhibit JD Finish Line’s core values of Customer, People, Winning, Community, and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following main duties: Develops initial project specific cost estimates by analyzing labor, material and time requirements with Project Managers, Design teams, and Real Estate team Review project plans/specifications to gain a complete understanding of the projects scope Monitor all addendums, scope changes and breakouts to ensure they are incorporated into the estimates and forecasts Communicate with project managers and design team concerning any issues with project specifications, project scope, value engineering possibilities, timelines or other items pertaining to the estimate Proficiently read and interpret construction drawings and all other technical documents in order to prepare estimates Conduc...
