USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app UNH TRIO Upward Bound, a federally funded college preparatory program, provides services at no cost to 114 students attending public high schools in Farmington, Manchester, Rochester, and Somersworth NH. Participants in the program will be the first in their family to earn a bachelor’s degree and/or come from a family with limited financial resources. Our mission is to help students develop the skills necessary to successfully graduate from high school and go on to college in order to earn a two or four-year degree within six-years of high school graduation. The Upward Bound Summer Bridge Program provides recent high school graduates of UNH TRIO Upward Bound with a two-week residential experience to help them prepare prior to embarking on their college journey in the fall. Programming at Upward Bound Summer Bridge We offer pre-college non-credit classes workshops in Residential Life, Health & Wellness, Academic Support & Preparedness, group communication as well as Success Seminars (in “life after high school” topics).
