Description At Gold Star, we offer feed and nutrition services and commodity trading in the northeastern U.S., primarily to dairies. As feed and commodity specialists, our customers count on us to originate feed for the mills, manufacture it according to their unique specifications and handle logistics for a safe and smooth delivery every time. Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician will ensure safe and efficient plant operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Communicate professionally and effectively with people internal and external to the mill. - Complete all assigned trainings on time. - Willingness and ability to utilize computer-based programs/systems as required. - Willingness and ability to lead projects from quote to completion. - Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, multi-task, and prioritize based on business needs. - Serve as an integral part of the plant Safety Team. - Utilize and accurately fill out all necessary permits prior to performing work. - Follow and perform preventative maintenance schedules on all equipment (ex. motors, bearings, bucket elevators, hydraulics, pumps, compressors, drag and screw augers etc.) - Rebuild...
