Description The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University invites applications for an assistant clinical professor of neurology. We seek an enthusiastic team-oriented faculty member who will provide outstanding advanced care in neurology for patients and service to our clients and referring veterinarians, as well as contribute to excellence in teaching in the DVM student and house officer training programs. This is a continuous-term (tenure-equivalent) track position. The neurology service provides care in the Foster Hospital for Small Animals (FHSA) and the Hospital for Large Animals (HLA) on the Grafton campus. The FHSA and HLA are fully equipped multi-specialty teaching hospitals, offering referral services and 24/7 emergency care. The FHSA caseload is primarily dogs, cats, and exotic species, with approximately 35,000 cases per year. The neurology caseload typically consists of referral cases and animals admitted by the emergency service in the FHSA for neurologic emergencies.
