BARISTA & RETAIL SUPPORT Duties & Responsibilities: - Greets customers and makes them feel comfortable. - Interacts with customers, helping and responding to queries about products and purchases. - Operate point of sale (POS) systems for the coffee house and farmer’s market - Handles refunds, exchanges, and returns. - Provides recommendations according to customer needs or preferences. - Locates merchandise for customers and places orders, where necessary. - Introduces promotions and new products to customers. - Uphold all health code and cleanliness standards for the coffee house and farmer’s market. - Assist in pop-up markets that are on-site and off-site - Documents sales by updating customer records. - Stays up to date with sales trends for better service and achievement of sales. - Alerts the management of potential security issues. - Cross-train to work in Bonton Farmers Market and any other duties assigned. Education and Experience Requirements: - High school diploma. - Two years working in the service or retail industry preferred.
