Job description

We are seeking a skilled engineer to provide expert technical support for Podman Desktop across RHEL, Windows, and Mac operating systems. This role combines core containerization knowledge with OS-specific expertise to resolve complex issues for our enterprise users. What you will do: - Provide Cross-Platform Support: Deliver expert technical support for Podman Desktop on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Windows, and Mac environments. - Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize the Podman CLI (command line interface) for advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting. - Network Troubleshooting: Resolve complex container network issues, including port management, bridge networking, and VPN/firewall connectivity challenges. - OpenShift Integration: Manage Podman Desktop’s interaction with OpenShift, including generating YAML and managing local clusters. - Issue Resolution: Methodically reproduce, isolate, and debug complex issues spanning the application, engine, and host OS. - Remote Assistance: Use remote access tools to debug and support users directly. - Documentation: Create clear documentation for complex steps and contribute to knowledge base articles.
