Position Description: Concordia University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Music/Director of Instrumental Activities. This is a teaching-focused faculty position with a primary mandate to build vibrant, high-quality instrumental opportunities for both majors and non-majors. We seek a leader who will ensure that instrumental music has an unmistakable, joyful, and integral presence across campus life. The successful candidate will provide artistic leadership and strategic direction for Concordia's instrumental music program. Concordia's current instrumental offerings include Symphonic Wind Ensemble, University Band, String Ensemble/Chamber Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Falcon Pep Band, and the CUW Drumline.
