Job Summary Medical Couriers are responsible for the transportation of medical items to/from labs, hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or the on-campus transportation of UMC guests. Reports to: Manager of Courier Services Job Specific Responsibilities: Daily assignments may include but are not limited to: - Responsible for transporting labs, deposits, mail, supplies, equipment, linens, medications, and paperwork to and from the hospital, local labs, or any other partnering facilities - Driving the UMC campus shuttle, or golf cart, and transporting patients, employees or visitors from one site on the campus, to another site on campus - Logging vehicle mileage and maintenance information in the company logbook - All other assigned duties related to UMC Courier Education and Experience: - High School Diploma or GED Required Licensures/Certifications/Registrations: - Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record Skills and Abilities: Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships This position will int...
