Position Description Performs a variety of assigned duties to maintain inventory levels and fulfill material requirements for assigned areas. Provides assistance to department by gathering information, entering data and generating reports. Job Responsibilities: - Posts data and prepares reports to: set safety stocks on assigned materials, monitor inventory turns, and supply materials for interplant and service requirements on schedule - Generates, distributes and enters correct counts for the location - Reviews and reports inventory discrepancies - Supports departments by running reports that provide information for better decision making - Coordinates with buyers to complete the vendor return process - Monitors daily purchase part receiving and inventory transactions by completing a daily review of these shop floor activities - Generates vendor analysis reports and identifies value added purchasing opportunities - Performs other duties as assigned Job Skills Requirements: - Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills - Experience with an inventory management software preferred - Ability to perform data analysis in Excel, database management and MRP Systems - Fluent in English...
