Create your best future and join Westpac as a Director, Public Sector What’s the role?: This is a senior, on‑the‑ground role where you’ll be Westpac’s market face to public sector and financial institution clients across Queensland. Based in Brisbane, you’ll lead a portfolio that includes the Queensland Government, financial institutions, councils and universities, acting as a trusted partner to senior decision‑makers. This is a hands‑on, relationship‑focused role where you’ll spend your time understanding client priorities and connecting them with the right solutions across transaction banking, funding, capital markets and risk management. You’ll be the local voice for Westpac, working closely with product and risk teams to deliver outcomes that are good for clients and sustainable for the bank. You’ll operate with autonomy and confidence in a market that values credibility, consistency and long‑term partnerships.
