The Municipal Fire Prevention Officer role provides an excellent opportunity for an emergency or fire management professional to work across both strategic and operational functions, while contributing to community safety and engaging with Council, regional stakeholders, and state fire management agencies. - Permanent Full Time - $99,526.96 per annum (pro rata) plus Superannuation - Join the City Safety team What you’ll be doing: - Conduct allocated Fire Prevention Inspections in accordance with the inspection schedule - Use the Crisis works Fire Inspection system to complete assessments and submit them for processing while in the field - Assess the vacant land by completing the Fire Inspection Program using an iPad and submitting the assessment to the EM Team. - Direct contractors engaged in fire mitigation activities on Council and Private land throughout the municipality. - Support and oversee Tender process for Contractors engaged in fire mitigation. -...
