Shop Foreman Department: Service: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Janesville: Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 / year Description: The Shop Forman optimizes production by directing, coordinating, and supervising the daily activities of technicians and shop workflow. Ensures technicians are staying on task, procedures are followed and paperwork is done correctly. Responsibilities: - Main shop contact for service advisors. - Maintain good customer relations by providing detailed communications to service advisor and speaking with customers as needed and is appropriate. - Optimal dispatch of jobs to technicians based on expertise, ability and capacity. - Ensure proper warranty procedures are followed. - Assist in completing necessary and accurate documentation on repair orders. - Comply with federal and state vehicle regulations and standards through ongoing education and training - Enforce dealership policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. - Maintain confidentiality with respect to dealership information - Other duties as assigned.
