Scope of work: Performs and provides expertise and guidance to a variety of technical skills, including provision of fully functional equipment. Recommends complex specialty equipment purchases and inventory levels. Initiates purchase orders. Performs patient care activity by assisting with Endoscopy procedures under the supervision of a nurse. Care provided is based on physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients. Summary of Responsibilities: Procedure Support: Assists physicians and nurses with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including specimen collection, both in procedure rooms and at patient bedsides.
