Job Description: Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Work with Project and Fleet Managers to assess equipment needs and repair problems by using the most cost-effective practices. - Monitor and schedule preventative maintenance and repair operations. - Maintain and provide a report of all repairs and maintenance actions including parts and labor time on each piece of equipment. - Stay within monthly and yearly shop budgets. - Perform mechanical work using conventional hand and power tools in a safe and productive manner. - Troubleshoot equipment problems and work to proactively maintain fleet and equipment. - Run equipment and service truck for truck / equipment repairs outside of shop and facility needs. - General shop and office upkeep. - Other duties and special projects as assigned.
