Position Summary The Chief Nurse Executive (CNE) is the senior-most nursing leader of the health system and a key member of the CEO’s executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CNE provides enterprise-wide strategic, clinical, operational, and professional leadership for nursing across all hospitals and care settings. The CNE ensures nursing strategy is fully aligned with organizational priorities, quality and safety goals, financial stewardship, and long-term system transformation. The role serves as the principal nursing advisor to the CEO and Board, advancing nursing excellence, workforce sustainability, and high-reliability care delivery. Key Responsibilities: 1.
