The Siqi Liu Lab (www.siqiliulab.org) at UT Southwestern Medical Center is recruiting a postdoctoral candidate. Our laboratory investigates the mechanisms of innate immune signaling that govern mammalian injury sensing and tissue repair. We employ an integrated approach combining biochemistry, cell biology, and mouse genetics. Ongoing projects utilize in vitro biochemical reconstitution, cell-based and ex vivo assays to dissect signaling mechanisms, as well as mouse genetic models to define the physiological functions of these pathways in vivo. The postdoctoral researcher will be expected to lead 1-2 independent research projects focused on injury repair mechanisms using biochemical, molecular, cellular, and genetic approaches.
