Classification Title: AST/ASO Professor Classification Minimum Requirements: This position requires an MD degree or equivalent; board certification or eligibility in vascular surgery and have competence in both open and endovascular techniques. Job Description: The Department of Surgery at the University of Florida, College of Medicine is seeking applicants for a faculty position in the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy to meet our expanding clinical practice. Rank and tenure status will be based on education and experience. However, the major focus of this recruitment are individuals starting their academic career. This new physician will join a group of nine vascular surgeons with a strong reputation for excellence in patient care and an established track-record of NIH and industry funded research. The Division provides all clinical care for UF Health Shands Hospital and the Malcom Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Centers, immediately adjacent to the Shands Hospital.
