Position Description The Financial Services Department of MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a Property Summer Hire. Reporting to the Property Supervisor, this position will require using established policies and procedures in life-cycle government property management accountability of tangible equipment and material at Lincoln Laboratory. Experience with inventories and IUID process a plus. Responsibilities: - Property reconciliation and tagging. - Conducting inventory using bar code scanners. - Plans and executes internal inventories according to a planned schedule. Keeps track of inventory discrepancies and group to reconcile. - Interacts and coordinates property related activities with the Technical Divisions, Service Departments. - Reconciles and updates the IUID registry for required additions/deletions to system. Requirements: - Currently enrolled in a college degree program with previous Property Management experience is required. - Experience complying with FAR 52.245-1 Government Property (includes Alternate 11), - Must be an organized person skilled at keeping track of inventory information within a dynamic work environment - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (primaril...
