Title: Power Line Construction Maintenance Instructor Employee Classification: Institution: TCAT-Hartsville Department: Power Line Construction Maintenance: Campus Location: TCAT Hartsville: Job Summary: The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Hartsville is accepting applications for the full-time position of Power Line Construction and Maintenance Instructor. This position will provide quality instruction for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom and laboratories. Job Duties: Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Post-secondary training from an Accredited Lineman Training School - Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Power Line Construction and Maintenance field as a Lineman and be a Journeyman Lineman. Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience and Associate Degree preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Must show evidence of teaching ability. - Must be proficient in Power Line Basics, Safety & Climbing, Electrical Theory and Concepts, Electric Utility Operations, Underground Power Line Construction/Transformer Connections. - Must possess the organizational and communications skills necessar...
