Location: Ball Memorial Hospital Hours: - Weekdays are 7a-330p - Every other weekend and holiday are 11:30am-8pm Job Summary: Performs supervised tasks related to the preparation of food. Meal preparations include regular and therapeutic diets. Utilizes foundational skills of basic cooking techniques, operates kitchen equipment and maintains a clean and organized work space. Key Responsibilities: ***Customer service is a must*** Requirements: With 15 hospitals, including seven with Magnet designation and eight with Pathways to Excellence designation, our team members are leading the way through excellence. - Cleanliness and sanitation - Food Safety - Follow recipes - Food quality - High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred. - No experience is required. Prior food service experience is preferred. - Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment. - Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc. - Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption. - Requires the ability to clim...
