Description Position Summary: The Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for 3 -year-old children. The teacher plans and implements curriculum that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in alignment with Texas DFPS Minimum Standards and early childhood best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities supporting all areas of child development. - Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment. - Observe and document children’s developmental progress and share information with parents and center administration. - Follow Texas DFPS Minimum Standards and center policies regarding health, safety, and child protection. - Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff. - Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development. - Implement classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning atmosphere. - Ensure compliance with required record-keeping and reporting.
