Min USD $16.50/Hr. Max: USD $24.82/Hr. Overview: Our Groundskeeper, under general supervision, performs basic lawn care, snow removal, and general grounds maintenance for Memorial Health. This role assists in following procedures, carrying out instructions, and completing individual work assignments to support the upkeep and appearance of the facility grounds. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Licensure/Certification/Registry: Valid Illinois driver’s license required. Must meet acceptable driving standards in accordance with the Memorial Health System Fleet Safety Policy. A five-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be required. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in grounds and lawn maintenance preferred. Responsibilities: Responsible for the general care and maintenance of the hospital grounds to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Key Responsibilities: Perform grounds maintenance including mowing, raking, watering, fertilizing, edging, planting grass and flowers, trimming, de-thatching, and leaf removal.
