Cardiology Procedure Scheduler Qualifications: - Scheduling cardiac procedures at area hospitals. - Coordinating pre-procedure testing. - Obtaining insurance authorization for cardiac procedures from patient's insurance carrier. - Completing detailed and accurate procedure packets. - Working closely with physicians and advanced practice providers to coordinate procedures based on acuity. - Developing and maintaining open lines of communication with hospital procedure schedulers in various departments. - Updating and maintaining physician procedure calendars. - Working directly with patients to coordinate procedures, review details about the procedures and provide pre & post procedure instruction. - Coordinating...
