Title Grocery Clerk/Stocker Pay Grade: Non-Exempt Major Department: Grocery: Minor Department: Grocery: Reports to: Grocery Department Manager, Store Manager: Job Summary: Grocery Clerks are responsible for ensuring the grocery section of the store is well-stocked for our customers. S/he must assist in receiving, storing, and stocking of products while guaranteeing proper product rotation and quality. S/he must be familiar with store products and their location in order to assist customers in finding items.As a PFM team member is able to exemplify Pete’s Four Pillars of Value, Aesthetic, Quality, and Customer Service. Essential Job Responsibilities: - Responsible for providing all guests with exceptional customer service. - Ensure all service standards are frequently met and often exceed company expectations. - Possess the knowledge and training of how to effectively use a scan gun and stock grocery department shelves. - Rotate and monitor for the expiration dates on product and signs, stocking and facing products in their department, build product displays, and handle product damages and credits according to company policy. - Complete all stocking and clean-up duties in an efficie...
