Classification Title: Student Assistant: Working Title: Student Assistant, Technical Services Department: Univ Libraries Admin: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $15 Pay Basis: Hourly POSITION OVERVIEW: JOB SUMMARY: This position provides technical support by creating, remediating, and uploading data to the Argo Scholar Commons. Typical duties include data entry, PDF remediation, basic citation coding, research, etc., and other tasks as requested. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be a student enrolled for credit. Applicants may be a student at UWF or any other college, university or high school. A student enrolled at an institution other than UWF must provide proof of attendance by submitting a registration/fee payment receipt from the school they will attend. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Students from all majors are encouraged to apply. A qualified candidate will be detail-oriented and possess a working knowledge of Excel, Adobe, Notepad++, Word, and be willing to learn new systems.
