Position Overview Performs safe and efficient transportation of patients both inside and outside of the hospital setting to predetermined destinations using appropriate equipment and vehicles. Including but not limited to testing sites, nursing facilities, and home addresses Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Patient Transportation and Linen Services, UHS Wilson Medical Center Primary Work Shift: Rotational Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 20 Compensation Range: $17.05 - $22.17 per hour, depending on experience This position is not eligible for benefits. ​ Education/Experience Preferred: - NA - High School Diploma or Equivalent - Two (2) years’ driving experience. - Customer service, organizational, communication and time management skills - Previous health care experience License/Certification: Preferred: - Current unrestricted drivers license - Two (2) years' maintenance of any form of drivers license with evidence of a clean driving record - Not Applicable About United Health Services: United Health Services (UHS) is a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system in New York’s Southern Tier comprising four hospitals, long-term care and home care services, and physician pra...
