Job Summary As a Drive Qualification Engineer, you will work as part of a team responsible for all phases of drive qualification and release. As part of the drive team, the overall focus of the group is on timely and accurate testing and certification of the Netapp storage products. This position is responsible for engaging with external and internal resources and driving the execution of drive certification and testing. This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, a quick learner and driven to produce results. Essential Functions: - Creating/reviewing/writing test procedures for storage system products. - Applying current skills to plan system level testing as part of the development cycle including: - Working on the environmental test planning for products through the product life. - Problem solving issues during test and product release. - Documenting/ coordinating test schedules with external resources. - Reviewing partner or Supplier test plans. - Work closely with the tool engineers to define test requirements of program. - Define debug efforts for root cause in the event of a field failure. - As part of a team, you will participate in technical discuss...
