Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position Purpose: The Surgery department at Mount Carmel Grove City has 9 operating rooms and averages 20 cases per day. The Registered Nurse would expect to see patients related to general, gyn, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, urology, colorectal, plastics, ENT, and thoracic surgery. This is a highly team driven department that focuses on one patient at a time to provide safe and efficient care. The department is staffed 24-7-365 and focuses heavily on work-life balance. The Registered Nurse RN , within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The Registered Nurse RN , collaborates in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.
