Internship - Construction Accounting

Job description

The Construction Accounting Intern will support the accounting team in tracking, analyzing, and reconciling financial activity related to construction projects. This role offers hands-on experience with real-world transactions and exposure to the full construction accounting lifecycle, including budgeting, invoicing, and month-end close. You’ll work alongside experienced accounting professionals and gain practical insight into how accounting supports large-scale construction and investment decisions. Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing and posting journal entries related to construction accounting activities - Support the review and processing of construction invoices, budgets, and contracts - Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis - Contribute to month-end close activities, including reporting and documentation - Collaborate with accounting team members across experience levels - Research and evaluate emerging A.I. tools for accounting related functions.
