Description JOB TITLE: MECHANICAL ENGINEER: IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: PROJECT OPERATIONS MANAGER: TRAVEL: NATIONWIDE TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS UP TO 15%: WORK SUMMARY: Design, detail, and develop mechanical systems and components for machine tool rebuilds, retrofits, and OEM builds. Create and maintain complex mechanical drawings and assemblies. Perform reverse engineering of existing machine components and systems. Assist with the construction of detailed bills of materials. Instruct and support mechanical technicians, engineers, sales engineers, and customers as required. Document preliminary and finalized mechanical designs and layouts. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable, and manufacturable mechanical systems. Assist in planning efforts of complex, multi-level projects. Research and develop new and improved mechanical systems and products. Assist in all aspects of the business that are mechanical engineering related.
