Job Summary The Maintenance Technician II performs skilled maintenance and repairs to university facilities and equipment in multiple trades areas such as plumbing, electrical, and/or carpentry. Job Description: Typical duties include but are not limited to: - Performs repairs to buildings, structures and equipment requiring skill in trade functions such as plumbing, electrical, or carpentry. - Inspects, operates, or tests machinery and equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose issues. - Provides training and guidance to others in areas of skill. - Assists with routine and preventative repairs and maintenance in other skilled trades such as repair of electrical devices, water leaks, install plumbing fixtures, appliance repair, drywall repair and painting. - Sets up, breaks down and cleans furniture, equipment and facilities for regular and special events. - Assists with maintenan...
