Summary : The International Center provides educational programming for newly arrived immigrants and refugees with the goal of improving learners’ English proficiency and communication skills. Programming includes daily ESOL classes at multiple proficiency levels, citizenship preparation classes, computer skills classes, individual conversation practice, and specialized off-site community programming for vulnerable communities throughout the city. Under the supervision of the Program Manager t he S tudent Support Worker will provide individual support to students enrolled in ESOL programming and will also support the operational and admi nistrative needs of the program . Salary: $35.00 per hour up to twenty- nine hours per week. Locations: 80 Maiden Lane, New York, NY, 10038.
