Substation Physical Engineer

Job description

We are currently looking for a Substation Physical Engineer from 0 to 5 years of experience. Duties: - Assist with create/modify detailed design for Substation: - Control building (relay panels, facilities, cable raceways, trays, etc.) - Busbar and strain bus - Equipment & support structures - Assembly drawings - Cables and connectors - Lightning protection and lighting - Grounding grid - Conduit and tranches Perform basic calculations such as: - Grounding - Lighting and lightning - Cable ampacity - Tray sizing - Trench sizing - Conduit sizing - Assist project manager to develop scope of work and conceptual design for the projects; - Communicate and coordinate project activities with project manager, client, and others as needed; - Take personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of one's work; Requirements: Salary Range: $60,000 - $86,000 per year The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. - A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or Civil is preferred. - 0 to 5 years of experience in Substation Physical design. - Willing to pursue P...
