Bilingual Parent Support Specialist (Full Time)

Description Monday - Friday (2Pm - 10PM) Variable Shifts as needed. Supervise pregnant and parenting mothers ages 18+ years old and their children ages 0-3 years old within the Guadalupe Home Program and set appropriate trauma informed behavioral limits within a safe and caring environment. The Parent Support Advisor is authorized to take reasonable action necessary to carry out responsibilities assigned as long as such actions do not deviate from established organizational policies and are consistent with program guidelines and sound professional judgment. Requirements: Competencies: Advocacy - *Pass TPCN Counselor Certification exam with 80% or better annually/as required. - *Properly bill TPCN and/or other agency utilized systems provided to residents. - *Knowledgeable of Guadalupe Home’s Resident Rules & Guidelines. - *Issue write-ups for residents that violate the Rules & Guidelines for Guadalupe Home. - *Must complete all required professional development assigned in a timely manner. - *Must have clean driving record - Teach constructive behavior and social skills. - Teach basic parenting skills. - Teach realistic problem-solving behaviors and life skills. - Teach good person...
