Job Title: Veterans Project Officer Department: Welfare & Social Inclusion: Location: Whitehough Outdoor Centre, Barley New Road, Barley, Burnley, BB12 9LF and Turf Moor, Harry Potts Way, Burnley, BB10 4BX and other locations as necessary Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st March 2027 Working Pattern: 21 hours per week, worked across three days Closing Date: Friday, 27th March 2026 Salary: £23,000 - £23,500 per annum The Role: Burnley FC in the Community’s Veterans Programme supports members of the Armed Forces community from across Burnley and East Lancashire. We support and run a number of projects within this programme to help Veterans connect, tackle loneliness and isolation, and improve health, fitness and wellbeing. As our new Veterans Project Officer, you will liaise with the Veterans Programme Manager and other associated Veterans staff to ensure the success of the programme. The role will support activities during our Veterans Wellbeing Hub at our Whitehough facility and act as support for other sessions across the programme including Football and Fitness.
