Employment Type: Full time Shift: Night Shift Description: General Summary: The Nurse in Charge (NIC) is a designated clinical leader for a patient care area who works under the supervision of and in collaboration with the Department Director to plan and coordinate care at the service/department level. This position is responsible and accountable for: The authority to exercise these responsibilities often requires the use of independent judgement. The NIC supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health. - Cost effective decision-making regarding operations including utilization and application of resources.
