Software Engineer - Manufacturing Data Systems (Application Development)

Job description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain application code to support production and engineering data systems. - Design, implement, and maintain relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL), including tables, views, queries, and stored procedures. - Enhance and maintain .NET libraries used to load and manage production data. - Collaborate with design and product engineering teams to capture and implement data requirements. - Provide back-end software and database support for web- and application-based user interfaces. - Contribute to new feature development and continuous improvement of existing software tools. - Support fab operations, including execution of Engineering Change Order (ECO)–driven configuration updates (ShermanData). - Perform ongoing maintenance and support of production software systems. Education & Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience. - 2–5 years of professional software development experience. - Experience with .NET and relational databases preferred.
