Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of production equipment, maintaining a preventive maintenance program, and keeping accurate maintenance records. Position also responsible for maintenance requirements of plant facilities as necessary. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment - Exercise sound mechanical judgment - Improve the reliability and repeatability of production systems - Perform preventative maintenance as outlined on schedule - Assist with the equipment installation, testing, and start-up - Plan and implement corrective action in conjunction with management direction - Maintain building, equipment, and grounds in a clean and orderly manner - Purchase maintenance supplies and equipment parts as needed or directed - Provide support to production associates regarding use and care of machinery - Comply with all safety standards and regulations - Responsible for 5S housekeeping system within maintenance work area and in the work areas where machinery and equipment repair is being performed WORKING CONDITIONS: - Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing en...
