Job description

SUMMARY: The Test Engineer is responsible for working within the Test Engineering organization to develop and improve all areas of the functional end-of- line test and in-process testing systems within all manufacturing operations locations. This includes performing statistical analysis of existing test parameters to improve first time product acceptance and product defect detection capabilities. This also includes the improvement and repair of mechanical/electrical design features, developing and specifying calibration routines, and troubleshooting electrical controls and hydraulic system related problems. The Test Engineer may also recommend new test equipment and controls/data acquisition solutions that include cost and implementation timing details.
