Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Sparks, NV at 1311 North McCarran Boulevard, Sparks, NV 89431. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed Job Responsibilities: Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications: Nevada state issued laboratory assistant license Preferred Qualifications: 3 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist Additional Job Standards: Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Ability to work independently or in a team environment - In lieu of state license requirement listed ab...
