Reporting to and partnering with the Executive Director and working closely with the Deputy Executive Director, the Director will implement The Arc of Howard County’s financial policy and direction while also being an active participant in, and driver of, the organization’s overall strategy. The Director will lead all financial administration, accounting, and budgeting activities. As a member of the Executive Team and senior management team, the Director will work closely with a motivated and engaged finance committee of the board of directors. Essential Responsibilites: Lead the organization’s daily finance and accounting operations in support of The Arc Howard County’s mission and strategic priorities. Manage general accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
