Physical Therapy Assistant, PRN: PTA Certification Required Administers physical therapy treatments to patients and works under the direction of and as an assistant to the Physical Therapists. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below: - Assures all program participants receive scheduled PT (Physical Therapy) treatments and documents therapy session or reason for inability to attend. - Performs active, passive and/or resistive therapeutic exercises, general therapy principles on program participants. - Performs therapeutic massage on program participants as needed. - Performs general mobilization and/or passive stretch to program participants, withi...
