Job Description The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) support youth and community services through contracts with community-based organizations throughout New York City. DYCD Youth Services, encompassing such as BEACON, COMPASS, CORNERSTONE, RHY, SNL, and CACFP programming seeks to support community-based organizations high quality after school services through funding, monitoring, coaching, capacity, evaluation and advocacy. DYCD Youth Services is seeking a communications Manager to join the Youth Services Operations Team. The Youth Services Operations Team offers specialized support and guidance to the entire Youth Services initiative with facility set-up and licensing, policy development, contract compliance and performance, data analysis and interpretation, unit operations and efficiencies, system overview and enhancements, and communication to contracted providers. The Communications Manager would be focused on supporting both internal and external partners with communication and project management efforts towards Youth Services initiatives.
