Application Engineer II – Packaging

Job description

Support MULTIVAC ’s sales and marketing efforts by collaborating with Sales Teams, Customers, Product Managers, Sales Administrators and MUWO colleagues to define the technical aspects of sales projects, proposals and orders. Primary focus on customer’s application and product configuration (machines and retrofits). Provides technical expertise to the Sales Team in support of closing new business opportunities as well as ensuring the technical implementation of new and additional services. This position will travel up to 25% of the time . Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field and five years technical experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong technical background and expertise with creating equipment application sales proposals and ability to discuss complex technical requirements or two years of experience directly with MULTIVAC. Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
