Company: Arena Investors, LP (www.arenaco.com) is a global investment manager focused on attractive risk-adjusted returns in credit markets. Westaim Corporation owns Arena and Ceres Life Insurance. Westaim is controlled by CC Capital. Arena’s assets under management are roughly $5 billion concentrated in corporate, real estate, and structured credit markets. Position: Director / Managing Director for syndicated high-yield corporate loans in growing U.S. CLO platform. This will be integrated with other funds with flexibility to invest across capital structures. This is a full-time permanent position. Based in Midtown New York City with hybrid/remote options considered. Responsibilities: - Sole coverage of companies in specified sectors to recommend and monitor leveraged credits for CLO platform and opportunistic credit funds. - Evaluate full capital structures with fundamental analysis, relative value, risk awareness, financial modeling with downside analysis, and legal documentation. - Prepare investment buy/sell recommendations, memos, updates, and financial models. - Contribute to portfolio management and think like a portfolio manager within their coverage areas.
