Job description
Under direct supervision and/or according to detailed instructions, policies and procedures, greets and receives visitors and Medical Center employees and refers same to appropriate staff members or department. Operates a multi-line telephone console and takes and relays messages. Education: High School Diploma Licensures/Certifications: Not Applicable Experience: Not Applicable Skills: - Ability to type brief memos, letters and forms - Skill in data analysis and interpretation Principal Duties and Responsibilities: - Greets visitors and employees to office. Determines nature of business and provides appropriate information, referring to appropriate staff members or department. Also directs deliveries of items to appropriate offices. - Answers visitors' and employees' questions, based on knowledge of the organization, department and policy, and notifies supervisor of difficult situations. - Performs various related clerical duties including but not limited to: typing brief memos, letters, tables, and forms; filing; opening, distributing and/or collecting mail; photocopying; maintaining logs of items such as deliveries or routine information received in the office; posting transacti...
