Job description

This is a multi-level posting. Candidates may be considered for any of the posted levels, depending on education, years of experience and depth of expertise.  The senior engineer provides engineering services for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of project additions to MidAmerican Energy Company's energy delivery system. Responsibilities include project management, estimating, materials procurement and construction contracting. Provide engineering services for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of project additions to MidAmerican Energy Company's energy delivery system; focus may include planning and budgeting gas and electric systems. (45%) Provide technical project management for all phases of a project including scheduling, design, estimates, engineering specifications, drawings, materials procurement, construction contracts, cost tracking and project cost projections. (20%) Conduct engineering studies and investigations and prepare oral and written reports.
